Pernem – Harmal Panchkroshi Primary School emerged victorious in the Primary School Level National Integration Group Singing Competition for Pernem Taluka, held on August 14, 2026. The school’s talented students captivated the judges with their soul-stirring performance, securing the coveted Winner’s Trophy.
Shree Kamaleshwar Primary School, Pethechawada, claimed the second position, while Lokshikshan Primary School bagged the third place. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 15 primary schools across Pernem Taluka, all vying to spread the message of national unity through music.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony took place at Vidhya Sankul School Hall, Tuem, Pernem, at 11:30 a.m. The event was graced by Mrs. Reshma Bandodkar, Chairperson of North Goa Zilha Panchayat, and Sandeep Bandodkar, former Zilha Panchayat member and social worker, who handed over the Winner Trophy to the Harmal Panchkroshi team.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Sandhya Paliekar, Director, along with Rani Nagvekar and Vanshika Malvankar, PTA members. Ishita Paliekar, Secretary, compered the entire competition and conducted the proceedings smoothly.
The competition, organised by Vidhya Sankul Pre-Primary School and Vidhya Vardhini Primary School, Tuem, aimed to promote national integration, unity, and patriotism among young students. The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of “Unity in Diversity,” with children coming together through music to spread harmony and national pride. The event provided an excellent platform for young participants to showcase their musical talent and patriotic spirit, leaving everyone inspired.
